Agricultural Farm Development in Angola
Groisman Engineering engineers successfully executed a comprehensive infrastructure project for an agricultural farm spanning 2,000 hectares in Angola. The development included the construction of a residential village featuring 200 houses at the farm’s core, designed to accommodate the workers and support staff.
The project also involved the establishment of a state-of-the-art logistics center, which houses a mechanical farming garage, warehouses, and a cold storage facility to support efficient farm operations.
To enhance agricultural productivity, the farm is equipped with advanced irrigation systems, including greenhouses for vegetable cultivation with drip irrigation, as well as pivot irrigation systems for large-scale field crops. A robust water supply infrastructure was also implemented, featuring a water reservoir and pumping station to ensure consistent irrigation and water management throughout the farm.
Additionally, a fully automated chicken farm was built to produce 35 million eggs per year, ensuring a high level of efficiency and productivity in poultry farming. The automated system optimizes every aspect of the farm’s operations, from feeding to egg collection, minimizing labor costs while maintaining high standards of animal welfare and hygiene.
This project reflects Groisman Engineering’s commitment to sustainable agricultural practices and the development of vital infrastructure in emerging markets.
